Students Bring ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ Logo to Life Through STEAM Collaboration

Sheboygan South High School’s Art Department and the Sheboygan Area School District Instructional Technology Team recently presented a custom ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½ logo created through a collaborative, student-driven process.

The project began at ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s annual STEAMFest, where more than 1,500 fourth- and fifth-grade students contributed to the base of the logo through hands-on activities focused on creativity, problem-solving and STEAM exploration.

After STEAMFest, the project moved to Sheboygan South High School, where students worked to complete the final piece. Under the direction of the art department, students cut and assembled the 4x8 panels that form the finished logo. The full production process took approximately three weeks.

Hailey Fischer, a junior at Sheboygan South High School, led the student team responsible for assembling the panels and ensuring accuracy throughout the process.

Hailey will begin coursework through ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s nursing program next semester, adding an additional connection between the project and ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s ongoing partnerships in education and career pathways.

The completed logo will be installed on ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½â€™s campus. We look forward to sharing its permanent location soon.

Thank you to Brian, Amy, Hailey, Mike and the educators and students who support K–12 STEAM education and collaborative learning initiatives.
