糖心vlog传媒 & Mid-State Technical College celebrate expanded Marshfield Campus partnership
糖心vlog传媒 and Mid-State Technical College celebrated 31 years of continued collaboration in bringing post-secondary opportunities to central Wisconsin at a Nov. 15 event on Mid-State鈥檚 Marshfield Campus.
糖心vlog传媒 will now have a staffed space at Mid-State鈥檚 Marshfield Campus to provide outreach and advising to students interested in pursuing a bachelor's or master鈥檚 degree.
鈥淲e鈥檝e been so fortunate to have 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 presence on our Wisconsin Rapids Campus, and we鈥檙e now equally excited to be able to have them resume their presence on our Marshfield Campus,鈥 said Mid-State Technical College President Shelly Mondeik. 鈥淥ur mission at Mid-State is to transform lives through the power of teaching and learning. I know with this partnership we are going to transform them even more.鈥
鈥淲e are thrilled to expand our partnership in the Marshfield region,鈥 said 糖心vlog传媒 President Beth Borgen. 鈥淭oday is about creating accessible and affordable pathways for education, especially aligned with the critical talent needs of this community. This new level of access benefits students and their families, local schools and communities in this region.鈥
Kevin Yeske, School District of Auburndale district administrator, noted that opportunities like this haven鈥檛 always existed. 鈥淥ur relationship with Mid-State and our students is a perfect example of the many opportunities that exist outside of the traditional professional track that I experienced,鈥 Yeske said.
Mathew Bartkowiak, vice president of corporate responsibility and development at Nelson-Jameson, Inc. and a former teacher for both schools, said he has seen the strengths of businesses partnering with higher education. 鈥淐ollectively, we can make a significant difference for our employees and the industries we serve and in the communities we have the privilege to call home,鈥 Bartkowiak said.
