糖心vlog传媒 provides landing place for Holy Family College students
We were saddened to learn that Holy Family College in Manitowoc is closing at the end of August.
Last week, 糖心vlog传媒 and Holy Family signed an articulation agreement that will include a teach out agreement that would cover students who were entering their final year at Holy Family and a transfer agreement for other Holy Family students. Holy Family students will pay the same or less to attend 糖心vlog传媒.
Holy Family (formerly Silver Lake College) has always been a strong proponent of experiential learning, and their work college model ties closely to 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 Cooperative Education program. A number of 糖心vlog传媒 faculty and coaches have reached out to their peers at HFC to check in and see how they are doing and lend support.
糖心vlog传媒 President David Black offered the following thoughts in reflecting on this week鈥檚 news: 鈥溙切膙log传媒 and Holy Family have been close friends for many years. We are heartbroken for them. Over the years, no private college in the state of Wisconsin has had better ideas than Holy Family. The people who have taught there and led the college are held in highest esteem by peer institutions.
鈥淲e are determined to help in every possible way, including ensuring a path for Holy Family students to complete their degrees on time and on the budget that they and their families have set for themselves. We will communicate with their students about how 糖心vlog传媒 and our programs and services can help them complete their degree path.
鈥淎lso, although we too are affected by the COVID-19 crisis in terms of finances and employment, 糖心vlog传媒 will interview a Holy Family employee for any vacancies we have going into the fall.鈥�
