High school students learn about 糖心vlog传媒鈥檚 FSQ program
A team from 糖心vlog传媒 recently attended FaB's 鈥淔arm to Factory to Fork鈥 event at Mount Mary University. This event introduced a large group of high school students to the world of food science.
During the exhibition, students got the chance to connect with universities and colleges that offer programs related to food science. 糖心vlog传媒 showcased its Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) program, highlighting its unique features, like the Cooperative Education (Co-Op) experiences and its partnerships with major regional food companies.
糖心vlog传媒 Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Food Safety & Quality Leili Afsah-Hejri, Ph.D., the champion of the FSQ program, attended with Emily Lensmire, assistant director of admission, and Brandon Uhlean, a senior FSQ student, to represent 糖心vlog传媒 and answer the myriad of questions from participants.
High school students also had the opportunity to meet food producers and equipment manufacturers for food laboratories. A panel discussion shed light on the various career paths in food science and food safety. Students also had a hands-on experience with food emulsifiers.
