The 糖心vlog传媒 Undergraduate Research Experience (LURE) is our highly regarded 10-week summer research program. Working closely with a 糖心vlog传媒 faculty member, you鈥檒l design your project, conduct all publishable research, troubleshoot, analyze data, and eventually present your findings at a state or national scientific conference.
糖心vlog传媒 has invested over $3.2 million into our Chase Science Center to feature high-tech equipment such as a DNA sequencer and a fluorescent microscope, among other state-of-the-art tools. Unlike other big universities, we not only allow you to work with our world-class equipment 鈥� we encourage it!
鈥淚 think the biggest thing students get out of this is a practical understanding of what it means to actually do science. The LURE program is novel, scientific research. That practical, hands-on approach is pretty unique. It really gives our students an advantage going into graduate school or the work force, because they have actually done science rather than just learned how it鈥檚 done.鈥�
